                          –18, –7, 3, –10, 0, 5.
            SOLUTION :    The given in te gers in as cend ing or der are
                          –18 < –10 < –7 < 0 < 3 < 5.

            EX AM PLE 5.  Using the num ber line, write the in te ger which is 5 more than –2.
            SO LU TION :

                               –5  –4   –3   –2   –1    0    1    2   3    4    5    6   7    8

                          To reach the integer that is 5 more than – 2 on the number line, we start from –2 and move
                          five steps towards right. We end up at 3. Thus, the required integer is 3.
